Coach Daniel founded our academy in February of 2009….Here’s a little info about our journey. 

Coach Daniel Duron was a blue belt in jiu-jitsu when he founded Pinnacle Martial Arts.  He brought in a black belt jiu-jitsu instructor from Brazil to help start teaching.  

 

His goal was to create an environment that helped people who had never trained before, and also the person who wanted to become a World Champion or make it to the UFC.

Through the years, Pinnacle has been able to evolve and grow to become known in the city of San Antonio, as the best in jiu-jitsu and boxing. 

This is owed to the dedication of our instructors, the system in which we operate, and how we build Student Journeys for our students. 

 

Even though we have been open for 12 years, we still know the best is still in front of us. 

We hope you can be a part of our academy, so we can help your life grow and evolve with martial arts.

HOW IT WORKS

Most people who come to our martial arts school have never trained before, and that’s OK!  We’ve designed a specific fundamentals training program just for you. Here’s how it works..

We LOVE pinnacle martial arts. We have been with them for going on 5 years! Our 10 year daughter trains and so does my husband. Let me tell you we have checked out almost every BJJ kids program at San Antonio gyms. You will not find a program as good as PMA's. You get your moneys worth not only because of the quality of the training but also because of the amount of training your kids will get. Rebekah and Daniel truly make it a family feeling gym. It is literally our second home being here 5-6 days a week sometimes twice a day.

I’m so glad I made this commitment! I did the unlimited classes for 3 months and after 3 jiu-jitzu classes and 1 kickboxing class( a week and a half worth) I feel awesome. Despite that I’m a runner, and go to the gym, at these classes, I am dripping sweat. It’s awesome. It’s a great cardio. Most importantly, I’ve learned 3 useable techniques for both life and jiu-jitzu. I’m in it for the exercise, but I feel smarter in combat already. I do the adult class, everyone is professional(not trying to injure me). You should join. Thank you Pinnacle!!! Can’t wait for next weeks techniques!

I wish i could give this jiu-jitsu gym more than 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. Their staff is so great at teaching and supporting their students. Plus, i get weekly emails and texts that make me feel like i’m part of the tem already! As a beginner, this is the perfect place for me. I highly recommend.

Out of all the sports, I've done, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu at Pinnacle is the best! I've been training here for 7 years, and I don't know why it's taken me this long to write a review. The instructors are the best I have ever been under, all the members are friendly and make you feel at home. And most of all, you feel like you are part of a family. This gym is more than a gym, it's a family, and they've helped me in lots of stages of my life. I can't speak highly enough of this academy. Clean, friendly, and the best instruction you can receive for jiu-jitsu. I'm proud to be apart of this team!
